Performance (February 2024):

The Cost per Rail Passenger Trip of $9.57 in February exceeded the forecast by $0.89. This unfavorable variance was due to operating expenses coming in over budget. The 2024 Fiscal Year-to-Date (months of July through February) Cost per Rail Passenger Trip exceeded the forecast by $1.60. This unfavorable variance was due to rail ridership falling short of the forecast by 0.2 million unlinked passenger trips and operating expenses coming in over budget.
